When it comes to star-studded film premieres and after-parties, Premier PR is the go-to PR and communications team in London. Since January 2023, Food Show has had the pleasure of partnering with Premier PR to provide catering for some of the most high-profile events in the city, including the premiere parties for Dune 2, Wonka, and Babylon. Each event required a creative approach to food and drink design, along with flawless service and logistical precision.
The Dune 2 premiere after-party was no exception. With the event kicking off later in the evening at Clerkenwell’s stylish Old Sessions House, after the film screening, guests were welcomed with a selection of canapés designed to satiate their hunger while they mingled.
Meat-free canapés included Corn fritters with chunky guacamole and Pico de Gallo, Cauliflower carpaccio with roast parsnip, cauliflower mousse and crumb, and Charred leek and truffle croquettes with scotch bonnet sauce. Guests also enjoyed Smoked salmon and cucumber tartare with pickled radish and Oscietra caviar and Food Show's signature classic - Hereford beef with chips and warm bearnaise.
To ensure guests were fully satisfied, a variety of delectable bowl food options were served. Vegetarian and vegan choices included Broccoli tempura with ponzu, Wild mushroom risotto with parmesan crackling and Butternut squash and sage ravioli with toasted crushed hazelnut and brown butter. For those preferring seafood and meat, the menu featured Salmon and haddock fish cakes with spinach and hollandaise sauce and Fillet of lamb in black olive tapenade with saffron orzo, broad beans, and mint.
Dessert canapés delighted those with a sweet tooth, with options like Vegan chocolate and avocado mousse with pomegranate and Tiramisu wafer cornet with chocolate chip.
The beverages were equally impressive, with bespoke cocktails crafted to capture the essence of Dune. Signature drinks included “Spice” – Tequila, chilli, coriander, agave, lime, soda, black lava salt, “Desert Power” – Gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, custom ‘Dune’ ice and “Water of Life” – Lychee liqueur, vodka, rose water, vermouth, lychee.
For guests who preferred alcohol-free options, mocktails were creatively named and deliciously refreshing - “House of Atreides” – Seedlip Garden, rose water, pink grapefruit, rose petal, “Harkonnen” – Apple, pear, gooseberry shrub, elderflower, cucumber and “Arrakis” – Passion fruit, coconut, citrus, blood orange soda, served long.
The event was a resounding success, with guests and the film distributor raving about the food and drinks. Hilary Chadwick of Premier PR expressed her gratitude, saying, “We loved everything, and the distributor hasn’t stopped talking about how good the food and drinks were. Thank you!!”
