An Enchanted Party

This has to be one of the most mesmerising memorable summer parties of all time….inspired by Alice in Wonderland our private clients, with Gideon Reeling Ltd, created a wonderland of awe in their stunning garden.

An enchanted summer garden party!

Beautiful clear blue skies welcomed 600 guests, who left their inhabitations at the gate and entered the wonderland.  Chilled cocktails and refreshing mocktails were served to guests upon arrival with beetroot patties with cardamom yoghurt and hand dived scallops & seabass ceviche served on scallop shells.

Raj tents with flowing silks housed the most stunning variety of food stalls.  Max and his team created the most visually stunning displays, which if even possible, tasted better than they looked!  The centrepiece was the seafood, ice filled tiered shelves presented whole sides of salmon with lemon dill mayonnaise; native blue lobster & tarragon and paprika & garlic marinated King tiger prawns with chilli oil.

Meats served from the barbecue coals included 48hour slow cooked Lake District rib of beef served with a Madeira Jus & a warm Béarnaise sauce and Food Shows signature chicken thighs.

Delicious fresh bowls of salad included hot pink coconut coleslaw with radishes & coriander; blood orange, tangerine and beet salad with maple-orange vinaigrette; radicchio di treviso with poached pear, pink grapefruit & creamy gorgonzola sales; crushed peas, roast radish, pickled red onion & goats cheese salad; little gem Caeser salad with dressing; boiled Jersey Royals served with mint butter and bulgar wheat salad.

The dessert station presented indulgent treats of rhubarb fool served with shortbread; traditional childhood wobbly moulded jellies with fruits & pouring cream; tarte au citron with confit lemons and flourless chocolate cake served with crème fraiche.  IdeasBox supplied their traditional ice cream bikes which served a delicious selection of ice creams – cookies & cream and Tiramisu were some of the most popular guest choices!

As evening approached the Music Bar opened and guests danced the night away.  Late revellers were served bacon butties and mini fish & chips to see them on their way home.
